Got a woman on the line today who just wouldn’t let up, kept hammering away with her eco-energy spiel no matter how much I tried to shut her down. She kept saying she found my number on something called the Local Property Register, which sounded dodgy to me. She hung up before I even had a chance to tell her what I really think about this nonsense. Proper annoying!

Got a call just after 6pm and thought it was something urgent, so I answered. The person said they were calling from Eco something or other, but I cut them off straight away and told them they were a scammer. That was the end of that. I've blocked the number now.

Got a call from an unknown number, but when I picked up my voicemail, there was no message left. Checked this site and saw what others said about it. I've blocked the number now, though I doubt it’ll help much since they’ll probably call from a different one anyway! Reported them to BT and the TPS, total nuisance!

SCAM ALERT. I found that just blocking them doesn’t stop the calls since they just ring from different numbers over and over. What really helped me was to blow a loud whistle right into the phone - sounds crazy, but it actually worked! Since then, my scam calls have dropped loads, like they took me off their target list or something lol. Definitely give it a try, it’s brilliant! 👌

I received a call from someone who purportedly worked as an energy consultant from my vicinity, claiming he wished to discuss an update for my solar panels. The odd thing is, I don’t even have any solar panels to begin with! When I mentioned this to him, he promptly disconnected the call. Quite bizarre, isn’t it?

Got a call from someone who said she was Sophie from the Driveway Team, but only yesterday she was pretending to be a local energy advisor! She claimed they were checking driveways for some kind of scheme and wanted to come round. I told her flat out I wasn’t interested, but she kept pushing the same lines like a broken record. After I kept refusing, she finally ended the call. It felt like the whole thing was a recorded message and really dodgy, possibly a scam. I’ve blocked the number now.

Got a call from someone calling herself "Sophie," who said she was an "energy adviser" from nearby. But it was fishy since she phoned me from Romford and I'm down in West Dorset!
