This number rang me about a PPI claim I made ages ago, like back in 2019. The bloke said I was owed about £2700 and asked me to give my bank details over the phone. When I said no and asked for a cheque instead, he suddenly snapped, asking if I’d lost my mind. That set off warning bells right away. I told him not to talk to me like that and ended the call. Legit companies always send a letter or a cheque through the post first if you’re getting money back. I’ve flagged this number as risky - could very well be a scam.
