I received a phone call from someone claiming to be associated with VISA, notifying me about a supposed fraudulent attempt to take money from my account. I must admit, right off the bat, something felt amiss-getting a call from Visa seems rather odd to me. When the person started asking for specific account details, my instincts kicked into high gear and I grew increasingly apprehensive. As I refused to oblige their requests, the tone of the caller shifted dramatically, turning downright aggressive and menacing. I promptly hung up and reported the incident to my bank. Thankfully, they were already aware of similar scams and assured me they were actively dealing with the issue.
