This number seems really dodgy to me. I got a call from a polite young woman saying she was from my local council (she mentioned the council by name). She claimed she wanted to check what kind of loft insulation I’d just had done - either fibreglass or something else. Trouble is, I haven’t had any insulation work done in ages, so it immediately felt off. I told her I suspected it was a scam and ended the call. When I contacted my council, they said they don’t have anyone making such calls and didn’t know the number either, so I’ve gone ahead and blocked it.
