3 yearsThey claimed to be from BT and said someone was using my internet without permission. I got an email that looked pretty real, even had a PIN from BT. But it was clearly a scam because the phone number was local to Romford and not one BT usually calls from. Plus, BT normally sends PINs through text messages, not email. The caller spoke with an Indian accent and there was loads of background noise like a busy call centre, which never happens when I ring BT since their lines are usually quiet.
