Some bloke rang me saying he’d had an accident and was after cash for an operation. I just hung up, knew straight away it was a scam. Who actually asks for money over the phone like that? Totally dodgy if you ask me.

Today I got a phone call from a doctor’s office. I was a bit confused initially since I couldn't remember expecting a call. Turns out, they were reminding me about an appointment I totally blanked on. We ended up rescheduling, and the chat was pretty pleasant.

They started talking about some accident i supposedly had, but I told them I never had one and then they just ended the call.

I got a phone call from someone saying they were from a charity asking if I wanted to donate. I told them no and hung up. It’s not that I don’t want to give, I just don’t trust giving money over the phone or online since I’m worried it might be a scam. I prefer to support local charities in person instead.
