I got a voicemail saying there was some money being taken out of my account for an Amazon order, and then another much bigger payment about to happen for an overseas money transfer. The message said to press 1 or 2 to continue the transaction. The caller sounded like a woman but never mentioned her name or the company she was calling from. Even though the number looked local, I thought it was dodgy and rang my bank straight away to make sure it wasn’t some sort of scam.
