Some bloke calling with a heavy Asian accent said he was from the TPS and asked me to verify I owned the phone. Then he tried to get my bank card expiry date, claiming it was to renew my TPS registration. I wasn’t having any of it and told him I didn’t trust that he was actually from the TPS. I also mentioned the dodgy solar panel scams coming from 01864340048, who seem to use the TPS list to target people. I repeated his number back and said I’d be reporting him. Then he just hung up on me. Looks like a total scam to me. They should be stopped!

I got a voicemail today from someone saying there was a big payment taken from my account, though they didn’t say which one, and they wanted me to verify my info. Sounds like a total scam to me.

Got a call from this number saying I was owed £202 back on my phone bill. They wanted me to confirm my postcode, but I refused straight away. They kept insisting it was needed to sort the refund, but I said no. When they asked why, I told them it was a total scam and told them to buzz off. As soon as I said that, the line just cut off. Blocked the number straight away.
