Got a call from a guy with an Indian accent claiming to be from the TPS (Telephone Preference Service). He asked if I get many annoying calls. I told him "yes, from you lot" and quickly hung up. I’ve blocked the number now. Watch out, these calls usually lead to them trying to charge you to stop the nuisance calls - total con! Stay clear of it!

Received a call purporting to be from the Telephone Preference Service, inquiring whether I suffer from pesky nuisance calls. Naturally, I replied in the affirmative, specifically naming them as the culprit, before promptly hanging up. I've encountered these calls repeatedly-they're trying to peddle some paid service to prevent unwanted calls! It's clearly a scam; the TPS doesn’t make unsolicited calls like that!
