2 yearsI received a rather concerning call from someone claiming to represent BT, although the number they were using seemed to be faked. They insisted that my internet and phone line were compromised by hackers or spammers and warned that if I didn’t provide them with certain details, my line would be disconnected and the authorities would be involved. I played along for about three or four minutes before deciding to hang up. Surprisingly, they called back twice more in quick succession, each time from a different number. I chose not to answer their subsequent calls, and they ended up hanging up again. I’ve reported all three of the numbers now.BT2 yearsGot a voicemail about some supposedly 'unauthorised transaction' on my credit card.
