I received a call that was claimed to be from TalkTalk, where the caller provided a so-called security code for future reference and subsequently requested my computer's serial number. Beware, this is nothing more than a scam-do not share any personal details with them! The call seemed to originate from Romford, and the gentleman had a strong foreign accent. The whole idea of a code is merely a tactic to create a false sense of safety. Remember, TalkTalk would never ask for your computer's serial number-stay vigilant!
