Just got a call from someone claiming to be BT Broadband but it felt really dodgy, like a scam. Be careful, folks!

I truly can't believe what just happened! I received a call from this number and was utterly taken aback. A chap, speaking with a pronounced Indian accent, claimed to be a technician from BT and insisted that my internet had been compromised in some way. He then proceeded to request remote access to my computer! There's no way he's affiliated with BT!

i keep getting calls from different numbers all over the place claiming my internet speed is slow, even some from overseas, but i never pick up. i also got a few dodgy calls pretending to be from amazon. its obvious scam stuff since i never share my personal phone number with anyone.

This woman said she was with BT and wanted to talk about my internet. I told her I don’t have a BT line at my place and to stop wasting my time. Of course, she just hung up straight away. These callers are seriously annoying.

i just got a call from someone saying they were from bt about an internet problem. i told her my phone line was fine and no internet issues. she kept insisting it was broken, but i told her to buzz off, shouted a bit at me, said i was an old woman or something. proper annoying!
