Take heed, everyone! I've just had a rather alarming call from a number purporting to be my bank. They claimed there was an attempt to withdraw £1,800 from my account! Now, I pride myself on being pretty sharp when it comes to dodgy calls, but this was a novel approach. Just to be safe, I popped into my bank to get it all verified, and thankfully, they reassured me it was a complete scam. The number in question is 01707896408. Please, stay alert and don’t let yourself be caught out by these charlatans!

Received a call earlier claiming to be from my bank, asserting there were two suspicious transactions attempting to withdraw funds from my account. However, I discovered that they weren’t actually from the bank itself.
