Got a call from a firm selling windows, said they'd be in my area next week and asked if I fancied a visit for a quote. When I asked what they meant by 'in my area', they knew my exact address. I questioned them about the new rules on cold calls, and the bloke said "Capita passed your info on, so it's all good". Told them that's not how it works, I never agreed to any call, and then I just ended it. Blocked the number right away.
