Got a call from a blocked number, some robot voice claiming to be Shirley warning me my internet will get cut off in 2 days. It said I had to press 1 to stop it. Complete scam.

I got a call from someone claiming they’d been trying to reach me about my internet bill not being paid - which it definitely was. Luckily, I wasn’t the one who answered the phone first, so the message had to be relayed through a family member. It all dragged on because of the back and forth, and eventually they just gave up and hung up. Seriously, don’t give out any personal or bank info if you get a call like this - just end the call straight away!

Got a dodgy call from some robotic Asian voice saying my internet was trashed and to hit 1 to talk to a tech person, so obviously I hung up. Total scam!
