They kept ringing and texting me even after I changed my insurance. They say they sent emails but I never got any. I asked them to put something in writing and they just wouldn’t. Had a look into the company and their staff on LinkedIn and Companies House. They seem real but will hassle you and push their luck. Definitely wouldn’t give them any of my money info, especially knowing they employ people with awful backgrounds.

This number is definitely connected to Skippy Insurance. I got an email from ICB Operations telling me to get in touch urgently about some letters they say they sent me. I never received any letters though. A few years ago I tried their car insurance, but got suspicious when they brought in another company without mentioning it at the start. I found it pretty dodgy that this “partner” company suddenly got involved. I also recall some mix-up with a payment they asked for that I wasn’t expecting. Anyway, I don’t owe them anything, so it’s not something I’m going to worry about.

They say call 01707 566053 and mention: 1613992 But honestly, no letters about this £650 cancellation fee for Go Girl car insurance - the INSURANCE COMPANY cancelled it, not me. Keep getting hassled about a policy that was totally missold to me with high pressure sales gimmicks, they talk so quick you never really know what you agreed to. You think you understand everything but then they hit you with confusing paperwork and legal stuff. Classic insurance broker behaviour. I’m 25, self-employed plasterer who’s lost it all. Feeling pretty low and hopeless. But the guy on the phone couldn’t care less. He was literally burping down the phone at me. That’s how it is these days. Seriously, stay well clear of them.

I’ve gotten loads of calls from this number but I’ve never had any insurance deal with them. I blocked their number ages ago but now I’m getting nonstop texts from them. The texts don’t even show the number, just say ICB, so I can’t block it. It’s really annoying having to deal with this nonstop pestering.

I received a communication from ICB recently. It seems my go Skippy insurance wrapped up at the end of last year. I reached out to go Skippy earlier today and confirmed that I don’t owe them anything - my account has been settled and closed. It appears they may be getting a bit ahead of themselves!

Had car insurance with Skippy and it was a mess. My car broke down a week after I signed up, so I rang them to swap the details for my new car. They said no, I'd have to start a fresh policy and pay another deposit. Told them to scrap it and ended up cancelling. Now they're asking for an extra £120 cancellation charge. No way, not paying that.

I’ve got quite a few messages from this firm saying they’ve posted me loads of letters which I never got, and now they’re trying to get loads of cash out of me! It’s really concerning, especially since there was no clear info about who actually sent the text. Watch out for this!

They call me every single day and keep texting nonstop! I’d agreed with my car insurance company since I no longer have a car, and the bloke on the phone told me I had two weeks to get another car or else I’d face a cancellation fee of about £90! But when I checked the policy, it clearly says the cancellation fee is £60! No idea where they’re trying to get that extra £30 from. Then out of nowhere, this number keeps ringing me morning, afternoon, and night, plus nonstop texts saying URGENT, call this number with a reference! Just block it and don’t answer!!

It seems these chaps are snatching up what they claim to be debts, whether genuine or simply fabricated, from various third-party insurers and brokers. As is often the case, we have these so-called young, ambitious executives peddling a load of twaddle in an attempt to extort money from you. Best to disregard them entirely! I recommend installing a call-blocker on your device; there are plenty of free apps available (you can easily find one to download on this very site). And if they manage to catch you off guard, just tell them, quite assertively, to “go and take a hike.” Put your response in writing, or let’s take this to court. That seems to be the only effective method to handle these numpties. I would strongly advise blocking all numbers starting with 01707.

These so-called insurance debt collectors keep ringing me non-stop, morning, day and night. Even when I was away on holiday, they bombarded me with messages. They’ve tried all sorts of tricks, even offering discounts if I paid straight away!!! I told them calmly to "buzz off"!! Now they’ve dragged solicitors into the mix - just what I needed. Really looking forward to sorting this out in court and shutting them down for good. My tip: get yourself a call blocker and don’t let these clowns scare you.

I'm receiving a constant stream of messages stating, "Dear xxx xxxxx. Following our previous correspondence. This issue is quite serious, and we must speak with you at your earliest convenience. Debt collectors from an insurance company kept ringing me about someone I've never heard of.
