I received a call from someone claiming to be with O2, stating they were reviewing my phone contract. They just asked if I had provided my bank details, which seemed rather odd.

I kept trying to call back but the line just cuts off when I do. Loads of calls like this lately, and a couple of them claimed to be from O2 trying to get me to extend my contract. Definitely a scam.

I mentioned to 02 that I was talking about my contract renewal, and the moment I said I wasn’t sure if it was due, they just cut me off and ended the call!
