7 yearsOur telephone number was exploited by fraudsters on the 19th of July, 2019, in an elaborate 'press No # to retrieve £600 from your Visa card' scam. It’s crucial to realise that these con artists employ number spoofing techniques, enabling them to mask their true identity and make calls appear as if they’re coming from any random number. We are entirely innocent in this matter and, unfortunately, have been inundated with countless calls, a number of which have been rather aggressive, from individuals who are unaware of how these scam operations function. It seems that as of the 20th of July, 2019, the scammers have shifted their focus to another unsuspecting victim's number.7 yearsOur number was used by fraudsters on 19th July 2019 - these scammers can disguise their calls to show any number they choose. We got a message about £600 being taken from your account, but it was actually the scammers pretending to be us. Loads of people have contacted us, some quite rude, thinking we were behind the calls. The truth is, it was all done by an automated scam system run by fraudsters. Looks like the scammers have now switched to someone else's number because we haven’t had any calls since around 10pm on 20th July. We’re just innocent victims here.7 yearsSomeone rang me saying £600 had been withdrawn from my account, I just hung up and reported it straight away.7 yearsSomebody called saying £600 had been taken from my bank account and told me to press 6 to fix it.
