Dodgy caller! They asked if I was “Mr Thompson” - funny, that’s the name I used last time some scammer rang me. They actually said my real name, but I played along and said, “No, this is Mr Thompson.” Haha. Then when I flipped it and asked who was calling, they just hung up sharpish. Next time, I’m keeping my whistle right by the handset - those scammers won’t know what hit ’em! Honestly, they deserve every bit of hassle, those cheats!

Im fed up with these phone calls. I always try to be nice, but if they don’t get what they want, they just hang up on me. The calls are from overseas and the English is usually terrible. This nonsense really needs to end, especially since I do shift work and need to catch up on sleep during the day.
