I own this landline number, it’s a private home line, and it looks like some telemarketers are using it to spoof calls. I found out when I got a call showing my own phone number on the display. Would be great if someone could get this number blocked.

Got a call from 01707270832 on the morning of 15th December 2018, around 9:15. I usually just let everything go to voicemail and noticed that as soon as these kinds of calls hit the answerphone, they just drop off straight away.

some guy called eric with an eastern european accent phoned me. felt fishy since he wouldn’t say what company he was from or who he actually was. definitely dodgy in my opinion.

I got a call from a bloke who said his name was Fraser, said he needed to ask me three questions or something!

Somebody with a strange accent was asking for a Mrs Simmons, that aint me. I told him I’m with TPS but he just kept on chatting away. Eventually I just ended the call on him.
