As soon as the phone went off, I picked it up, only to be met with silence for what felt like an eternity-about thirty seconds, I reckon. Then, a voice with an accent chimed in, which immediately rang alarm bells for me, given my previous encounters with these dodgy calls. Curious, I did a bit of digging on the number, and it turned out to be linked to something called Reglaze Glasses Direct in Welwyn Garden City - a place I’ve never come across before. Quite the puzzling turn of events!
