I picked up the call, but they simply dropped off without a word.

I received a call from an unknown number earlier. When I answered, there was silence and they disconnected almost straight away. Since I didn’t recognise the digits, I opted not to return the call. Just left it be, really.

01706845469 - This number seems to be linked to a Sky broadband con. They never bother to ask for your name, probably because they haven’t a clue who you are. They’ll try to persuade you into granting access to your devices, all in an effort to ‘diagnose’ your supposedly terrible internet connection. Who knows what they might end up accessing? Best to keep your distance from this lot!

I received a call from someone claiming to represent an energy company, inquiring about the age of my boiler and how I could obtain a new one through a government initiative. This raised a few red flags for me, especially since another user pointed out that this might actually be linked to a magazine subscription. Seems a bit dodgy, to say the least!

Didn't receive a call from this number and no voicemail was left. After having a look at the comments here, I've opted to block it. Seemed like the right thing to do based on what others have said.

Much like the rest, there was no response when I answered the call, so I decided to let it slide, hoping they might leave a message. Alas, nothing came through, so I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number.
