Today I got a call from 0060179219647, an automated voice claiming to be from Amazon saying my account was cancelled. I've had loads of calls like this from different numbers. I reckon this is really DANGEROUS since it might end up costing loads. When I tried to look up the number, it kept switching to a new one, which was weird. I keep blocking these numbers as junk but they just keep calling from another line, so it feels like HARASSMENT as well. Honestly, it feels more like a serious DANGER to me!

I got a call from 01706845469 claiming to be about Sky broadband issues. They never asked me for my name, which was the first red flag - they probably have no clue who I really am. They tried to get me to let them access my device to supposedly check the ‘poor internet connection’, but honestly, I have no idea what else they might be able to get into. Definitely avoid this, seems like a total scam.

I got a call claiming to be from the electric and metering team. When I pressed for which company, they finally said British Gas. I kept asking them for my account number but they kept dodging the question and changed the topic all the time. Said it was something to do with a technical issue but never said what exactly. Then they just cut the call on me.

Someone said they worked for an energy firm and started asking about the age of my boiler and if I wanted to get a new one through some government program. Got flagged as risky though, probs 'cos someone else said it was a magazine subscription call!
