Beware of this one! They got my number through a campervan ad on Gumtree. Definitely not anything to do with Google! Ignore any good feedback you see around, it’s all just made up.

Got a call from this number and the guy kept talking about some Google stuff, but honestly, it felt a bit off. When I told him I suspected it was a scam, he just said something quickly and then cut me off. Pretty sure I did the right thing by not going along with whatever he was pushing about Google.

Got a call from some bloke calling himself Mark, said he could get my caravan on page one of Google for two whole months for only £192 plus VAT. Complete nonsense - that’s not how Google listings work at all. Stay well clear of this dodgy offer!

Watch out for these scammers! Mark rang me up saying he’d sell me a car or give my money back, but now he’s ignoring all my calls and emails. Total dodgy behaviour, best avoid them altogether.

I received a phone call from a rather articulate gentleman claiming to be from GOOGLE, attempting to convince me that they could boost our rental property's visibility on their search engine for a fee of £200, assuring me of securing over 30 weeks of bookings a year. Having been exposed to similar pitches before, I found myself rather sceptical about the authenticity of his claims. I questioned the legitimacy of the call, expressing that I don’t typically respond to unsolicited inquiries. I offered to review any details he could email me, but he insisted that I must decide within half an hour due to having other potential clients he could reach out to, claiming I was next on his list. I responded by saying that was perfectly alright and encouraged him to contact those other leads instead. Upon researching, I discovered there are no records of GOOGLE offices in ROCHDALE; their locations are primarily in London and Ireland.
Don't be deceived by this individual.

I got a call from someone claiming to be with Google, offering to put my car for sale as a "top listing" for two months at £99, saying I'd get my money back if it didn’t sell. Weirdly, just 20 minutes before the call, someone had replied to my Gumtree ad asking for my phone number, so they already had my name and car details. When I asked questions, the guy struggled to answer and seemed annoyed when I said I wasn’t interested.

Dont be fooled by this person claiming they’re from Google. They target car owners with false promises about “a spot on the first page” opening up. I know about google ads from my job, and this isn’t how it works. When I questioned them, they got rude and hostile, so I just ended the call. Stay clear!
