This morning at half past seven, I received a call from 01706355034. When I picked up, there was complete silence on the other end. I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number now.

Received a call from this number at precisely 7:14 PM today. I managed to answer swiftly—said "hello?" a couple of times, yet there was silence on the line. The call cut off by itself shortly after. I attempted to ring back, only to be met with the message "the number you have dialled is not recognised". Have now blocked the number after seeing what others have reported.

An Indian gentleman rang me up inquiring whether he was speaking to (my first name). Upon my confirmation, he abruptly terminated the call. Quite peculiar, if you ask me!

I keep getting calls from someone claiming to be 'James' from BT. But let's be honest, it’s neither 'James' nor is it anything to do with BT. I've received three of these dubious calls today alone. The moment I detect that eerie silence on the line, I simply hang up.

I had a missed call from this number and chose to ignore it. I've recently registered a domain name for my website, and I have a hunch it might be a web design firm trying to get in touch, as I've encountered similar calls before.

Best to steer clear of returning their call; they're known for using dodgy numbers to pull off scams. They often let it ring a couple of times before hanging up—if you try to ring them back, they’re just saving themselves some cash on phone bills. In the last couple of times we were contacted, we had an Indian lady on the line who was trying far too hard to sound British.

I had a rather peculiar phone call from a gentleman with what I would describe as an Indian accent, who identified himself as Steve. He started inquiring about what I needed for my website. I politely informed him that I had no requirements at all. To my surprise, he abruptly ended the conversation by hanging up! Looks like that's another number to add to my block list.

I’ve been bombarded by calls from an Indian call centre regarding website development, and it’s rather irritating. They’ve attempted to reach me several times in quick succession, which is becoming quite the nuisance.
