Just like others mentioned, they first tried our home phone which we quickly hung up. Then they rang my mobile so I’ve blocked their number now. I can see how this could really worry people who aren’t so sure about these things.

Somebody rang me on my mobile and as I normally don’t pick up numbers I don’t know, I just let it ring off. Decided to look it up online afterwards and I’m pretty happy I did.

Someone just tried to con my mum out of £79.99, but thank goodness she refused and rang me up to check if she’d done the right thing. It’s shocking that businesses like this are still allowed to operate, honestly.

I just missed a call, and if this is about Amazon Prime's auto-renewal, it should happen automatically - that’s what 'auto' means! No one should be ringing you to tell you about it.

Had a phone call that sounded just like amazon prime. It started with some automated voice, then a man with an Indian accent said someone tried to charge me £79.99 for amazon prime or something. He told me to grab my laptop so he could "help," but I just hung up there and then. Seemed dodgy to me!

Got a call today about my Prime subscription renewing by itself. Thing is, ive never actually signed up for it. So, I hit "1" to stop it. At first, everything sounded normal, but then the caller asked me to visit some strange website and told me to click a link and put in a password he was going to give me. That felt off, so I just ended the call right away. 😈

I got a call from this number and some guy with an Asian accent named Edward was on the line. He claimed there was a problem with my Amazon account and said I had to log in, but I was stuck at work and couldn’t get on the site since it’s blocked there. He mentioned he’d ring me back later around 7pm. When the call began, there was an automated message saying £79.99 would be taken from my bank unless I talked to one of their agents. Seems like a total scam to me.
