They rang my mum’s phone a couple of times but she never picked up. Not sure how they ended up with her number though, since very few people even have it.

Not sure, I just didn’t pick up. Feels like another one of those scams to me. They really should get the mobile provider to block that number.

017066398645 called me but I couldn’t answer as I hardly get any signal at home, mostly no mobile reception here. I looked up the STD code and saw it’s from around Rochdale/Rossendale. We missed their call and when I called back, it wanted me to ring an 0843 number. That set off alarm bells straight away, seemed like one of those scam or boiler room calls. I’ve flagged it as harassing, but it could be something more risky as well.

I've got no clue where they got my phone number from, but it has to be a scam since I don't recognise the number at all.
