Got a call from 09112022 at 11:33, claimed to be Vodafone. I asked if they were cold calling me, and they said no. Then I said, "If you weren’t cold calling, you’d know my name, right?" They replied no again. I went on, "Do you even know where I live?" and they said no, just that the company gave them my number. That’s when I ended the chat.

I got a call from a woman with a strong Asian accent who said she was from o2. After a bit, she handed me over to a man, also speaking with a heavy Asian accent, saying they wanted to sort out a discount for me. They somehow already knew the amount of my bill, which was odd. Then, I got texts on my phone asking me to share a 6-digit code from one of the messages. Funny part is, the very first message warned not to share that code with anyone who calls... really sneaky!

I just told him he must already know it since he’s calling me on that very number. After that, he just ended the call. There’s no way to ring them back to check anything. This is definitely some sort of SCAM, total FRAUD!

I got a call where the person said they were ringing from Currys PC World - only mentioned that when I asked where exactly they were calling from, which I'm pretty sure was somewhere like Delhi. He tried to sell me an iPhone 14 at 40% off, asking if I was interested. When I questioned if he really worked for Currys PC World, he said yes without hesitation.
