I received a call from this number but they hung up without leaving a voice message. I've seen other remarks indicating that it might be some sort of scam. It’s odd — after having a peaceful spell, suddenly my number seems to be attracting all sorts of unwelcome attention. This marks the fifth call I’ve had from different digits just this week!

Strangely enough, they hang up in a jiffy whenever I bring up the Telephone Preference Service or inquire about their actual location—Rochdale isn’t exactly what I’d consider local to Surrey! Clearly, this is just a scam.

I reckon this wasn’t your typical robocall, as “Harry” seemed to genuinely engage with my queries when I probed him about his intentions. I even strayed from the usual script on purpose. Like many have mentioned, the call pertained to housing repairs from the Local Authority. Honestly, Rochdale feels like it's miles away from the South Coast!

It's evidently a con. I've seen similar feedback from others as well. An automated voice delivered the message. I got the call on my mobile while in the Northeast of England at 10:20 am on Saturday, the 25th of June, 2022.
