just got a call from some indian bloke claiming i hadn’t paid my taxes and telling me id be arrested soon and theyd show up at my place. when i tried to ask who he was at hmrc or any proof he just cut me off straight away! weird thing is, about 10 minutes earlier, someone with a really similar voice rang my landline asking about a car i supposedly had on ebay. definitely fishy stuff.

About an hour back, this number rang my home phone. I wasn't sure of the caller’s name, so I let the call through via my call screening app, but just this once. The man said he was Colin and claimed to be from weccty, mentioning he had something to discuss with me. I quickly told him I was rushing out and wasn’t interested in any surveys. I didn’t bother asking what weccty meant because I didn’t want to get stuck in a chat.
