I received a rather persistent call from the Rating and Valuation Office, RVA, claiming they wanted to 'assist' me regarding my business rates. I wasn't keen, so I politely declined, but they continued to drone on, seemingly unable to take a hint. Ultimately, they ended the call abruptly. Quite discourteous, really. Best to save your breath and steer clear of these chaps!

I received a call from the Rating and Valuation Agency about my business rates. They claimed they wanted to 'assist' me, but I had no desire to engage, so I declined their help. However, they persisted with their relentless chatter! Eventually, the line went dead, as they abruptly hung up on me. Quite discourteous behaviour, if you ask me. Do yourself a favour and don't bother entertaining these time-wasters!
