Can anyone tell me if this company is for real?

I received a call earlier today from someone claiming to be searching for the "director of the company." From past encounters, I've found that such cold calls often raise red flags. The chap initially proclaimed he was with Google, but after I probed a bit, he changed his tune and stated his affiliation with an outfit called Get Found First. The pitch he provided was the usual drivel we all know too well. What really irked me was his dismissive attitude towards my very valid reasons for not wishing to engage with his offers. At one point, he incredulously remarked, "I can't believe what I'm hearing; you'd turn down potential work? That's rather poor business practice." I couldn’t help but respond, clarifying that my firm has been thriving for over a decade without ever needing any SEO gimmicks to attract clientele. Rather than taking that onboard, he merely scoffed and ended the call abruptly. Curious as to their credibility, I took a look at their website-underwhelming at best, especially for a so-called marketing firm. I would strongly advise caution if you’re thinking of dealing with them. - Caller: Get Found First.

A chap rang me twice over the past week. On the second occasion, he sounded strikingly similar to the previous caller, although he insisted he had been involved in selling radiators just the week before, so apparently he was a different person. He claimed to be representing Google, attempting to persuade me to fork out £3.90 a day to secure a spot on the first page of search results. However, it’s worth noting that Google explicitly states on their optimisation support page that they don’t offer such a service. The caller was incredibly discourteous, interrupted me consistently, and had the audacity to say, "£3.90 is likely less than what you spend on your meals!" (It seems this scam could be quite lucrative...). It appears to be the same crowd, just operating from a different Rochdale number, pushing the same dubious pitch.
