Some lady called claiming to be from 02, which is what I use for my phone, but she couldn’t answer any questions about my contract or plan. Then she wanted me to text some odd number to prove my identity. I wasn’t having any of it, so I just ended the call and blocked the number right away.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with Virgin Media, trying to pitch a business account upgrade. Sounded really polite and had a proper English accent too.

Some bloke rang me asking for details about my 02 contract. Even though I actually am with 02, I told him I wasn’t just to check if he was for real. After that, he then asked if I was with giffgaff. That was enough for me to end the call and block the number straight away.
