Sounds dodgy to me - they said they were from HMRC and threatening legal steps against me, but I’m pretty sure it’s just a scam.

The phone just keeps going off but whenever I answer, there's no one there.

Someone rang me up inquiring about an incident I had, claiming that another “individual” had lodged a complaint against me. Turns out, the so-called “individual” was a badger! He huffed in discontent and then abruptly ended the call. Classic scam, if you ask me.
