I got a call this morning before 9am from an asian woman who spoke really clearly. She claimed to be from "Visa security" and said I’d transferred £400 to ebay, then another £700 to some bloke in California. She kept pushing me to verify those payments. I tried throwing her off by asking all sorts of random stuff but she just stuck to her script. The number seemed to come from around Rochdale or Blackburn in the northwest. Definitely a scam, so I’ve blocked the number now.
