I received a call from someone with a strong Indian accent claiming there was a problem with my computer, which clearly doesn't exist. It's obviously a scam!

This lady called me up with a really thick Asian accent and kept calling me mam. She said she wanted to talk about my computer. I told her I didn’t own one, and she just asked “Are you positive?” I then asked her if she was even real, and she just hung up on me.

Got a call on the job from 01705750467 earlier. Someone with a thick accent was trying to tell me about problems with our windows software downloads. Honestly, couldn't make out most of what they were saying. I just said "no thanks" and ended the call.

Had a call from someone claiming to be Microsoft, saying they knew my computer ID and just wanted me to log in for them. When I called them out on their nonsense, they got really angry. This is like the seventh time they've rung in two days - you'd think they'd get the hint that I’m not gullible enough to fall for their rubbish!

Got a call that Call Guardian stopped, and the person only muttered some rubbish instead of saying who they were. They rang me back three times over five days, but it was always the same nonsense.

Got a call from a woman with an Asian accent pretending to be from Microsoft Windows support. I just asked, "Are you sure you're not from another planet? I haven't just arrived from space." She must have realised I wasn't buying it because she ended the call. Maybe next time I'll hand my little one the phone and see how they handle that!

Had three calls from the same number today. They always come across dodgy, so I just either ignore them or say it’s a business line and we're tied up right now. Usually makes them hang up pretty quick.

A woman called saying she was Kathryn from the Microsoft tech support. When I asked where she was from, she said Thailand. I told her it was a shame she wasn’t raised well. Then I just said goodbye and hung up. So fed up with these scammers.

I got a call from some Windows tech support scammers. I played along for a bit, wasting their time for several minutes, then I finally called them out and ended the call.

Got calls from someone saying they were from Windows support. I told them I wasn’t interested, but they kept ringing me, about four times that morning. Feels like some kind of scam to me.

Got called by some folks pretending to fix Windows problems. I played dumb and pretended to be clueless about their scam, chatting with them for like 20 minutes. They kept handing me over to different “tech guys,” one named James and another Jack, both speaking with Asian accents. When I told them I was onto their game, they didn’t seem bothered and even insisted they weren’t after any cash. Funny how calm they stayed!

Got a call from 0170575046, the person had a really strong accent and said they were from Microsoft Windows, starting with "how are you today?" I told them straight up, "This seems dodgy, probably a scam, and you're trying to get into my computer. Don’t call me back." Then I just ended the call. These sorts of calls really wind me up!

Definitely a scammer trying to rip someone off.

Got a call from someone pretending to be from my internet company, trying to get me to log into my computer - watch out for this! I've encountered similar scams where they seem to know who your provider is, which is a bit creepy. There's a Radio 5 phone-in programme that talked about this kind of fraud. If you fall for it and follow their instructions, they can lock your hard drive and your PC ends up completely ruined!

They said they were calling from Windows but as soon as I told them I’m a Microsoft engineer, they just dropped the call! Quite the dodgy tactic if you ask me.
