They even mentioned my job date, address, and phone number. I didn't want to chat with him and asked to talk to a manager instead, but then he just hung up on me.

Got a call from a woman with an Asian accent claiming she was from BT. She said my internet was being accessed by like 20 people worldwide. I suspected it was a con straight away but kept her on the line for a bit, feeding her some made-up info. After that, I just told her to bugger off.
