Received a call from an Indian call centre today - it felt quite dodgy to me. They were attempting to fish for my telephone banking information, claiming it was related to a fraud investigation. They wanted my bank account details along with the sort code, which raised a huge red flag. Furthermore, they asked for an OTP, insisting it was necessary to halt a supposed fraudulent transaction on my card. It’s extremely suspect! I’d advise against answering or calling them back; best to steer clear altogether.
