I’m rarely in at that hour. Picked up the phone but kept quiet (got wise and don’t chat if I don’t know the number) and I definitely didn’t know this one. They stayed silent, probably waiting for me to speak, then just hung up out of the blue.

I picked up the phone to a bloke asking if I could hear him. He went on about being from an insurance company regarding some car accident I supposedly had. I told him I was going to ring the constables since I had his digits. He then uttered a rather foul word, declaring that he didn’t drive, and promptly disconnected the call.

I played it back quite a few times but still couldn’t work out who it actually was. Not sure if I should pick up if they ring again.

Got a call from a lady who claimed she was ringing about a car crash I supposedly had. When I asked for the date, she suddenly said she couldn’t hear me properly. Didn’t bother with it and just blocked the number straight away.
