I received a rather dubious call earlier from a chap who identified himself as Alan, claiming to be affiliated with a government organisation. Quite frankly, I'm convinced he's up to no good! Whatever you do, don't take him at his word!

Some bloke called himself Alan, had a really thick accent and said he was calling from some uk company. He knew my name and wanted to ask me three quick questions. I could hear loads of noise like a call centre in the background. Told him no cheers, hung up and blocked the number. The call showed up as Southport but honestly, sounded more like it was from India. They’re pestering loads of folks, proper annoying.

Got a call around 6:10 in the evening from someone claiming to be a recruitment firm. Oddly enough, they only had my name, phone and address - no CV or anything like that. They started asking all sorts of questions but I didn’t want to answer any. When I told them it all seemed pretty suspicious and asked to be taken off their contacts, they just ended the call on me. Not once did they say where they actually got my info from.
