I received a message claiming that I was meant to receive compensation from an accident that occurred 18 months back, as the insurance company had reserved funds due to it not being my fault. Never got the name, but it was supposedly AAC like others mentioned. Classic ambulance chaser behaviour. Told him to take my number off their list but he wouldn’t do it because I didn’t answer his question. Said they’d ring me again so I’ve blocked the number now. I only recently bought insurance after using a couple of comparison sites and picked the insurer myself. I made sure not to let them share my info, but I’ll be reaching out to sort this out.
