I let the call go to voicemail but decided to call back on my home phone. Turns out, it was just a recorded message from some marketing firm.

Really frustrating, got around ten calls within just thirty minutes. They said it was a test call from my service provider but the call always drops halfway and then they ring me again and again.

The person calling had really loud music and loads of chatter in the background, so it was really hard to catch what he was saying. He mentioned he was from the UK and claimed he wanted to give us money supposedly left by my partner’s late uncle. He kept asking for bank details, but when my partner didn’t answer, he just said it was fine, that all accounts were sorted and then suddenly hung up.
