Got a ring the other day, i deal with Data protection and brokerage stuff under UK law. They claimed I needed an annual check on my life insurance. When i asked about my data rights under GDPR and told them to take my info off their list since I never gave permission, they just wouldn’t listen. The bloke even called me rude and a disgrace just because I was honest with him. Honestly, best to just ignore and hang up. Sounds like one of those loud call centres in INDIA.

Could tell it was one of those auto dialler calls, you know, that beep and pause when it connects. They started off by asking if I was Mrs so-and-so, which I denied, then they wondered if I knew them. I told them it was a wrong number, and they were quite polite about it, but it definitely felt a bit dodgy.
