It was a dodgy life insurance call, she seemed to know a few simple things about me but kept going over the same questions. When I told her to send me the policy info by email before I answered anything, she got all sarky and said I needed to verify my details first. I just kept pushing and eventually she got fed up and hung up on me. They're just after your cash, nothing more.

That’s really scary if you actually have insurance with them. The caller sounded like they were from abroad. Watch out for this scam, best to just hang up straight away.

A bloke called me earlier, sounded like he was talking from one of those call centres, and asked if it was me he was speaking to (he even knew my name). I asked who he was, and he claimed he was ringing about my life insurance. I said, “Life insurance from which company?” He said Legal and General. I told him straight up he was a scammer and told him to jog on before I ended the call.

I couldn't make out the person properly, but they mentioned something about my life insurance. It seemed like they were trying to say I didn’t have sufficient coverage, which is odd because I don’t have any life insurance whatsoever. When I told them no, they just kept going like they didn’t hear me. They even ignored me a bunch when I kept trying to say goodbye, so in the end I just had to hang up on them. Definitely blocking that number now.
