Called me about 5 or 6 times, each time I answered with a hello but then the call just dropped out.

I made the error of enquiring about solar hot water from an official energy website and since then, this number plus a few others have been ringing me constantly. I just don’t pick up though - curious how long it’ll take before they stop. Sometimes I think about messing with them by booking appointments, but from what I’ve seen, they usually don’t bother turning up! My electric supplier wanted me to get a smart meter fitted, booked an appointment and then no one arrived. When I checked with the company, they said smart meters aren’t even available around here!

EEC ringing me even tho I’m registered with TPS! They wanna waste my time, so I figured I’d return the favour a bit. Was just having a cuppa, so I went through all their spiel and ended up booking a visit. He’s gonna be surprised when he shows up - no solar panels here at all. ;-) Did similar with the ‘new boiler’ callers before, the guy wasn’t too happy when I told him, “No thanks, already got a boiler.” :-) When I shut the door, I said if their company keeps pestering me with calls, I’ll keep wasting their time too. Shame more ppl don’t do the same!

Genuine business that clearly has no respect for folks on the TPS list by bombarding them with cold calls. Avoid them and maybe they'll learn their lesson. They flat out refused to tell us how they got our number. Complete waste of time.

total waste of time, kept ringing about cleaning solar panels but never said how much it would cost. this was like the tenth call from them. when i asked to talk to a manager, they just ended the call.

The caller didnt say what company they were from or where they got my number, just trying to sell a free solar panel health check. Total waste of time for both of us. Claimed to be from a solar company affiliated with EE, doing inspections on solar panels just like a few others. When I inquired if they were the team responsible for servicing my panels, they mentioned needing to check their system. After a brief wait, they returned to say their computer was sluggish and promised to ring me later. However, that call never came. Quite odd, really!

Got a call out of the blue from them, acting all official and quite pushy. He kept saying he couldn’t hear me properly. If he’d been a bit more pleasant, maybe I’d have given it a chance, but trying to fake being some sort of authority? That just made me chuckle. Trying to scare people doesn’t do the trick.

Here we go again, yet another firm claiming they can boost the returns on our solar panels! We’re ex-directory and registered with the Telephone Preference Service, yet they still manage to slip through. I always make a point of asking these callers to remove our number from their database, but I doubt it has any effect, or perhaps the person calling simply can't act on that request. It’s beyond frustrating!

I received a rather peculiar call from someone claiming to be from the "EE solar panel company" - a bit of a head-scratcher, to say the least. They had my actual name and home address, which immediately raised my eyebrows. I pointed out that EE hadn’t carried out any solar panel installation at my residence and felt quite uneasy about how they might have come by my details. It strongly suggested a possible breach, maybe due to an unscrupulous employee misusing information. They proposed conducting a complimentary "Health Check" on my system, but let’s be honest - nothing in this world truly comes for free! I can’t shake the feeling that their real agenda is to weasel their way into my home, probably hoping to hawk those battery storage contraptions. From what I’ve read, they’re more likely a drain on resources than any kind of wise investment, not to mention the space they would occupy and the inevitable upkeep they will require down the line.
