I got called by a couple of different numbers and they actually knew my full name, which was a bit creepy. When I tried asking who exactly I was talking to, they just cut the call straight away. Quite suspicious if you ask me.

This number has rung me like four times already. My phone always shows it as spam, so I just ignore it every time.

I have no idea where all these calls are coming from, but they’ve definitely got worse since lockdown started. I end up blocking like three or four different numbers each day. It’s so frustrating, especially when you’re trying to get some work done!

Sounds like one of those scams where they try to trick you into giving out info. Definitely a dodgy caller pretending to be someone legit.

I usually ignore calls from numbers I don’t recognise. If it was something important, they’d of popped a message through. I rely on this website a lot to identify who’s been ringing me.

I've had loads of calls from various numbers asking for a Sarah B, even tho I told them that wasn't me. They just kept going on about some compensation from a third party. Got fed up and ended the call.

That 01704 524640 number is quite suspicious. It looks like it’s based in Southport, but when you try to call back, it just forwards you to some other random number. I've heard you can actually lease these 01704 codes and then redirect calls to as many as ten different phones! Seems dodgy to me, maybe even a scam. If they weren’t up to something, why would they bother hiding their real location?

I got a call from 01704 524640 which seemed fishy. It sounds like a Southport number, but when I tried calling back, it just redirected me somewhere else entirely. I heard you can actually rent 01704 numbers and forward them to loads of different phones, like ten or so! Seems quite dodgy to me, like it’s some sort of scam. Why bother faking your location if you’re not legit?

I had no clue who it was, I just mentioned a random name and hung around. The call stayed on but nobody spoke and then it suddenly dropped? Sounded like someone from abroad.
