The number showed up on my phone but the person on the line said they were from BT Openreach. When I questioned where they were calling from they said London, which seemed odd given the number was from Southport. They kept going on about how my private IP had supposedly turned into a public one. When I asked for my account details and said it sounded like a scam, they hung up straight away.
