Yesterday I got a call from a lady speaking with a heavy Indian accent who claimed to be a BT tech. She said they spotted strange activity on my internet and threatened to disconnect my service within 12 hours unless I let her fix it by letting her onto my computer. I told her no way and ended the call straight away! It’s been over a day now and everything’s totally fine, just as I suspected. Obviously a scammer trying to pull a fast one!

Had a call from someone named Mary, sounded like she had a strong Indian accent, saying it was regarding my BT internet. Something felt off so I just hung up. Thankfully, she never rang back.
