Yesterday, I received a phone call from a woman who had a distinctly strong Indian accent. She claimed to be a technician representing BT. According to her, they had identified some suspicious activity regarding my broadband connection, and if I didn’t “allow her to rectify the issue” by granting her access to my computer, they would have to suspend my service within the next twelve hours! I firmly told her that I would never comply with such a request and promptly ended the call. Now, more than a day has gone by, and surprisingly, nothing has occurred, just as I suspected! It seems I was targeted by scammers!

Had a call from someone named Mary, sounded like she had a strong Indian accent, saying it was regarding my BT internet. Something felt off so I just hung up. Thankfully, she never rang back.
