The person on the line told them to press 1 or 2, and when my mum chose 1, you could hear two people arguing in the background. The caller said they were from the bank’s security team because there were two large transactions showing up from Amazon and another company that needed to be checked. My mum stayed silent after pressing 1 but heard shouting and then the call ended. We rang the bank straight away and they confirmed it was all fake.
