This morning, I received a phone call from a woman who spoke with a thick accent, distinctly foreign, possibly Asian. She claimed to be representing Amazon, where she allegedly worked. To be honest, her words were quite hard to make out, but she insisted on needing me to verify my account information. Apparently, there had been some sort of suspicious activity linked to my Amazon account that required my confirmation.
