I got a call claiming my loft insulation from a few years back was causing damp and needed swapping out. They said their surveyor was actually nearby today and might pop round to check it out. They kept asking if I could get into the loft alright and whether I used it for storing stuff, then suddenly started to ask if I was between 60 and 80 years old and if my family helped me with money problems. It was obvious nonsense - I've never had loft insulation done by anyone. I just told them to get lost and hung up. Seems like a dodgy scheme targeting older folks, probably best to steer clear.
